FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR SCHOOL – P15048 (70 hours)

This two week program is a basic firearms program for pistol and shotgun for law enforcement and correctional officers. It meets all minimum standards established by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions. Students are required to bring: duty belt with an Agency approved pistol with 3 magazines, 1,200 rounds of semi automatic pistol ammunition, 25 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun slug ammunition, 75 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun 00 buck (9 pellet), and 25 rounds of 12 gauge # 8 bird shot ammunition. TYPE 3 RIFLE SCHOOL – P14734 (35 hours)

This one week program is for law enforcement and correctional officers. It is designed to instruct the officer in the basic rifle. It meets all minimum standards established by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions. Students are required to bring: a M16/AR15 Rifle equipped with iron sights and a military style web sling with a metal keeper for length adjustment, 700 rounds of .223 Remington rifle and 100 rounds of handgun duty ammunition, duty belt with holster and service pistol. TYPE 1 & 2 (SCOPED) RIFLE SCHOOL – P14728 (50 hours) (prices subject to change after 7-1-10)
FEE $290.00 – Client Agencies $385.00 – Non Client Agencies
This seven (7) day program is for law enforcement and correctional officers who have successfully completed and Entrance Level Rifle Program. This scoped rifle program meets the minimum Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions requirements for Counter Sniper/Scoped Rifle end user. Students are required to bring a scoped, bolt action rifle and 500 rounds of match grade ammunition preferably of the same lot number and type. Class size limited to 8 students. ENHANCED SHOTGUN TRAINING – P13553 (16 hours)

This 2 day program is open to current Firearms Instructors, to sharpen their shotgun training. This course will be a combination of classroom (detail on shotgun nomenclature, ammunition selection, weapon accessories and slings) and live fire. Participants will be required to bring a gun belt, service weapon and 5 rounds of slug, 10 rounds of 00 buck and 25 rounds of #8 shot for the shotgun and 50 rounds of handgun ammunition.
